Beginner Kids class

Every Saturday, 8am–8:55am, ages 7-17. This is a fun intro class for young archers, discussing the basics of archery in a step by step approach, with plenty of time to practice. We provide recurve bows & shoot at 10yards. Price: $25 per kid. Please try to arrive a little early. Intermediate Kids class

Saturdays 9am -10am. Participation in the Intermediate class is limited to instructor approval. Students must demonstrate safety, discipline, etiquette and a certain level of skill. Intermediate shooters use the 20 yard line, but can move rolling targets closer. Intermediate class assumes you are dedicated and disciplined about your archery, and are considering tournament participation. We emphasize the finer nuances of shooting and help with equipment decisions and setup. Beginner Lesson for Adults (or big kids)

Friday nights 6:15pm. Using our traditional recurve equipment, we’ll practice shooting, & discuss stance, hand position, archery form, aiming, follow through, parts of the bow, different styles of bows, arrow dynamics, etc. We will generally finish around 8pm. Private lessons or parties

Private lessons are available for adults & kids. Lessons start at $65/hr and tier down for more people or more time. For example: a 4 person party is 192; a 6-12 person party is 38ea. Regular times include: Tues 7:15pm, Wed, Thurs, Fri 6:15 & 8:15pm, Sat 5:15 & 7:15pm, and various Sunday times. Morning lessons at 8am or 9:15am are also available. NASP Lessons:

We are offering one-on-one lessons for local Austin NASP students, to help on the finer nuances of your archery shot process as you train for upcoming tournaments. $50/hr. These have more flexible timing during regular retail range hours. Sat 10-5 and Weekdays after 3pm. Message one of the “Matts,” Matt D. or Matt S. for info.

J.O.A.D. Monday nights

“Junior Olympic Archery Development”: Monday nights 5:30-7pm (excluding holidays) A good way for aspiring young competitive archers to get some more practice. AC JOAD FB group page for info.
